“Thank you for caring” was our motto for our 2013 Annual Fall Scholarship Banquet, held last Saturday at the Bluff. We had our highest attendance yet at 156 attendees. It was a night full of fun, with raffle games, heads and tails, a silent and live auction, and of course fantastic, tasty food. Dave Thompson, our auctioneer for the evening, did a great job of motivating our guests! From start to finish, the evening was splendid!
This Scholarship Banquet is one of our most important events on site, because it really helps further our mission of promoting connections between people and the natural world. The money raised at our banquet provides students with the trip of a lifetime at Eagle Bluff, who would otherwise be unable to afford it. Eagle Bluff is an independent, non-profit organization, which is funded solely by user fees and donations. We considered this year’s banquet to be a success not only due to our high attendance, but also because of the record amount of money raised.
So THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to our attendees who donated their time and money to raise a grand total of $41,386!
If you are interested in contributing to Eagle Bluff’s programs, but were unable to attend our banquet, you can visit our Ways to Give page to find out how!
Please enjoy some photos from our event below, and again, thank you to ALL of Eagle Bluff’s supporters. We wouldn’t be a successful organization without your generosity!

Naturalist Brynn and Graduate Naturalist Mary working the room, encouraging ticket purchases for the Wine Raffle and Heads and Tails!

Naturalists Miriam, Brenna, and Jody did a great job helping out with many different jobs throughout the night!

Some of our guests participated in a game of Heads and Tails for the chance to win one of two prize packages.
