High Ropes + Halloween = Spooktacular!

tree tops

The leaves are falling all around campus and that damp, wet, and cool feeling of fall has set in. Oak, Green Ash, and Maple trees are reaching their peak colors and have created a colorful landscape throughout the river valley. Instructors are wearing their shorts, t-shirts, and chacos less, and have instead swapped their gear for pants and cozy long sleeve fleeces. October always brings two cornerstone Eagle Bluff events– our annual Scholarship Banquet and a fan favorite of Haunted High Ropes.

Haunted High Ropes is not only one of our visitors’ favorite events, but it’s also a staff favorite! Always held the Friday before Halloween, guests encounter witches, vampires, pirates, and a jungle as they traverse through our West Tree Tops Ropes Course. There is a costumed Eagle Bluff staff member on each themed tower, prepared to help guests through the course as well as to hand out tasty treats! We also encourage our visitors to wear costumes as well! So if you and some friends or family members are looking for an adventure-filled evening, come on out to the bluff.

This year Haunted High Ropes is on Friday October 25th, from 6 pm – 9:30 pm. If interested, your spot(s) must be reserved ahead of time. You can Register Here. We only have about 25 spots out of 80 left, so don’t wait!

Here are some of our favorite photos from the event the last few years.
