About Us
Eagle Bluff is a Residential Environmental Learning Center in Lanesboro, MN. We have 80 acres of land and are surrounded by 1000 acres of State Forest Land that we also utilize. Our mission is to foster environmental awareness and promote respect and personal responsibility.
Each year, 22.000 students and adults visit Eagle Bluff as a part of many programs including Residential School Programs, Summer Camps, Getaway Weekends, and more! Our facilities include a dorm that houses 250 people, a dining hall, a classroom building, and 11 miles of trails!
Our classes that our visitors participate in can fall into three main categories; Science, Adventure, and Cultural. Our Science classes include Wildlife Ecology, Stream Lab, Animal Signs, Birds, Amphibians, Insects, Karst Geology, Earth Explorations, et al. Treetops High Ropes, Archery, Group Challenges, Rock Climbing, Canoeing, Orienteering, and GPS Pathfinders are some of our Adventure classes. Our Cultural classes include Oneota and Pioneer Life where students can learn about the lives of native people and the settlers of this area.
